Zoë’s Hildegard of Bingen-insired piece “Lingua Ignota” was given its first performance at Malling Abbey as part of Music@Malling Festival. It is dedicated to Mother Anne, the Abbess of St Mary’s who heads the Benedictine convent there, whose community of nuns still celebrate the seven sung daily services in a rhythm unchanged for nearly a thousand years…
